DR. CAROLYN KWIAT

Dr. Carolyn Kwiat graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2007. She first completed her Bachelor of Science, followed by her Doctor of Optometry. As part of her final year of training she spent a term at a family practice in Calgary, Alberta and another in Dallas, Texas at the Parkland Memorial Hospital.

She first practiced in the Kawartha Lakes region for several years; but has now been calling Burlington her home since 2016. Dr. Kwiat is an active member of both the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. In 2016, she joined the Ascenta Foundation on a mission to Nicaragua where she helped to provide eyecare and glasses to thousands of patients.

Optometry is not only a career, but a passion, for Dr. Kwiat. She enjoys getting to know her patients and their families - providing thorough care from infancy to adulthood to senior living.

When she isn't in the office, Dr. Kwiat enjoys camping and hiking with her family.
