Dr. Danielle Wickert, O. D.

Dr. Danielle Wickert completed her Bachelor of Science in Honours Science and her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo. Her clinical training provided her with well-rounded experience in various aspects of optometric care across a diverse range of patient populations and clinical settings.

Dr. Wickert has particular interests in myopia control (being highly nearsighted herself), dry eye management, and providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. She is passionate about making eye care accessible and comfortable for everyone, including individuals with physical disabilities, special needs, infants, and children.

Her approach to care is rooted in building strong doctor-patient relationships and equipping patients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their eye health. She is dedicated to making sure patients leave their appointments feeling heard, cared for, and confident in their treatment plan.

When she’s not looking at eyes, you’ll find her unwinding with a good medical drama, getting lost in a book, or turning a paint-by-numbers into a work of art.
