I have been a patient of Dr. Joanne Montiero's for the past 20 years, so when she retired, I was sad to see her go. I was not sure what to expect when I had my first appointment after she sold the business. I need not have worried as my experience was wonderful. Dr. Samuel was great. He made me feel comfortable, has a great sense of humor, just an overall pleasant experience. Would highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Margaret Corey and the Staff at Upper Appleby Eyecare for some time now and I must say that the care, professional attitude and efficiency of Dr. Corey and the whole Team is, simply put, outstanding. Our family has always been treated promptly, courteously and professionally at Upper Appleby Eyecare. I go back probably more than 30 years to when Dr. Monteiro first opened her practice and I see Upper Appleby continuing as our eyecare professionals for years to come. Kudos to Dr. Margaret Corey for her diligent and professional care of our son's eyecare and I look forward to her being my provider now that Dr. Monteiro is retiring. And a shout out to all the assistants that see so thoughtfully to our needs from reception to frame fittings to adjustments and everything in between (because we all know an office is nothing without a wonderful support staff, which they are!!).

Great experiences for everyone in my family! The office space is modern and clean, with extra precautions in place due to Covid. Dr Fox-Chen was very helpful in meeting our eyesight concerns -she found new prescriptions for us each that we have been very happy with. Christina helped me pick out several flattering frame options for me. She was extremely kind and helpful through my indecisiveness, and helped with fitting when I picked up my frames. Thank you!

I always have a great experience here! Doctor Corey is amazing, and there is nobody I would trust helping me pick glasses other than Christina! Everyone is so great, happy and helpful, even after I broke my glasses for the third time :)
